About this fabric

The visible weave is a medium-scale plaid, with narrow and wider bands crossing in muted heather pink, warm taupe, soft grey and restrained olive green. Its brushed-looking, irregular surface softens the checks rather than making them appear sharply graphic, while the darker intersecting lines add depth. The cloth appears versatile enough for upholstery or drapery based on its substantial-looking woven face, although no composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied. This is a relaxed, softly coloured interpretation of the Bibury design, with the pink reading dusty rather than bright.
