About this fabric

The plaid is built from warm terracotta blocks crossed by cream bands, with muted sage and brown lines adding depth rather than sharp contrast. A diagonal, closely woven texture is visible across the swatch, softening the geometry and giving the surface a gently mottled appearance. The substantial-looking textile reads particularly well for upholstery, where the broad checked pattern can bring relaxed structure to a chair or sofa. No additional composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Bring the warmth of the terracotta ground into a relaxed sitting room with oatmeal upholstery companions, aged timber and sage-painted accents. The cream checks help keep the deeper rust and brown tones from feeling heavy.

Use this warm, muted plaid on relaxed seating, alongside cream, sage and natural wood tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
