About this fabric

The small chevron weave creates a finely textured, directional surface rather than a flat plain grey. This colourway reads as a cool, measured mid-grey, with the alternating charcoal and silver-grey threads giving it subtle depth without introducing a strong contrast. The dense-looking construction and neat pattern scale give the cloth a smart, tailored character suited to upholstered forms. No composition, width or performance figures have been supplied for this SKU, so the sample should be assessed alongside the intended application.

How to use it

Use this cool mid-grey on a tailored chair, ottoman or sofa where its fine herringbone can add texture without dominating the room. Balance the charcoal depth with pale stone, soft white or brushed metal accents.

Pair the cool mid-grey ground with charcoal, blackened timber and softly contrasting pale neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
