Acara Fabric

Acara Chromium is a cool, pale silver-grey woven fabric with a finely articulated surface. Its close-up texture reveals a delicate broken herringbone effect rather than a completely flat plain.

About this fabric

The colour combines soft grey ground with slightly darker grey and pale threads, creating a softly mottled Chromium tone. Tiny angled marks form a compact zigzag rhythm across the face of the cloth, giving the surface subtle visual movement. Light catches the raised weave unevenly, so the fabric reads as quietly textured while remaining restrained and easy on the eye. Its balanced appearance makes this colourway suitable for upholstery or drapery where a cool, understated grey is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Acara Chromium with chalky whites, cool stone and pale timber for a calm contemporary room. Its finely broken grey texture also works well as a neutral counterpoint to deeper charcoal, navy or muted green accents.

Use this cool silver-grey weave to bring quiet structure to sofas, headboards, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
