About this fabric

The surface combines a dusty grey ground with subtle tonal variation, while the narrow vertical lines give the fabric a quiet sense of direction. Fine irregularities in the weave create a softly mottled, linen-like appearance rather than a perfectly flat finish. Its visible mid-weight makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery; no composition, width or performance figures were supplied for this colourway. The overall effect is cool, understated and softly dimensional as light catches the raised and recessed areas of the weave.

How to use it

Pair Asolo Dust with chalky whites, pale timber and soft charcoal for a restrained contemporary room, or use it to temper warmer taupe and natural textures. Its vertical striation can add gentle height to curtains while remaining quiet enough for upholstered seating.

Use this softly mottled grey as a calm, tactile foundation for upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
