Forenza Espresso is a richly dark brown textile with a quiet, almost-black depth. The close view shows a largely plain surface with subtle tonal texture rather than a pronounced motif.

About this fabric

In this photograph, the colour reads as warm espresso brown, with enough depth to appear nearly black in the darker areas. A fine, low-contrast texture gently breaks up the surface and prevents the shade from looking completely flat. The finish appears restrained and low-sheen, allowing the deep brown tone to remain the main visual feature. Its plain character gives upholstered forms a tailored, composed appearance without introducing a competing pattern.

How to use it

Pair Forenza Espresso with warm timber, aged brass and softly contrasting cream or camel textiles to balance its deep brown tone. It would give a sofa, armchair or dining chair a particularly grounded, sophisticated presence.

Use this deep espresso brown to bring a grounded, tailored depth to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
