About this fabric

The image shows a substantial-looking woven textile with a closely textured face and irregular vertical striations. Brown, charcoal and muted grey-brown threads blend into a dark, softened liquorice tone rather than a flat black. The fine linear pattern is low contrast, creating depth that becomes more apparent as the light moves across the weave. With its visually weighty construction, this colourway is particularly suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use Delano Liquorice on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its charcoal-brown depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and lighter neutral textiles to keep the dark weave from feeling severe.

Use this deep, quietly striated brown weave to bring tailored depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
