Ituri Sandpiper

Mokolo Fabric

Ituri Sandpiper presents a pale sand-taupe ground covered in a tightly repeated geometric trellis. Its softly mottled woven surface gives the neutral colourway gentle depth rather than a flat, single-tone appearance.

About this fabric

The design is made up of small, closely spaced diamond and quatrefoil-like forms, creating a consistent rhythm across the swatch. Warm sand and muted grey-taupe tones sit together in the weave, giving the pattern a softened, understated contrast. The fine texture catches the light subtly, keeping the overall effect calm and tailored. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Ituri Sandpiper where a warm, low-contrast pattern is needed on curtains, occasional upholstery or cushions. Its sand-taupe colouring works especially well with cream, chalky stone and pale oak.

Pair the warm sand-taupe ground with natural timber, ivory upholstery and softly aged metals for a calm, tailored scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ituri Sandpiper without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
