Ituri Henna

Mokolo Fabric

Ituri Henna is a warm henna-ter terracotta colourway patterned with a dense, finely repeated cream geometric design. The close-set motif gives the swatch a crisp, textile-like rhythm while retaining the depth of its earthy ground.

About this fabric

Across the terracotta background, tiny cream interlocking shapes form a regular all-over pattern of crosses, loops and linked diamonds. The warm orange-brown tone reads muted rather than bright, with the pale pattern creating clear definition across the surface. Its compact repeat and visibly textured textile construction make it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width or performance features have been supplied for this exact fabric, so final suitability should be confirmed against the manufacturer’s technical details.

How to use it

Pair Ituri Henna with warm timber, chalky neutrals and aged brass, allowing the earthy terracotta ground to act as the room’s colour accent. The small cream geometry works particularly well on a tailored chair, bench or relaxed Roman blind where its detail can be seen.

Use the warm henna ground and crisp cream geometry to add graphic texture to contemporary upholstery or softly tailored window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ituri Henna without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
