Otillo Maple

Otillo Fabric

Otillo Maple is a richly coloured woven fabric with a warm terracotta-brown ground and closely repeated cream botanical motifs. The pattern has a softly irregular, tactile appearance rather than a crisp printed finish.

About this fabric

Small cream leaf- or seed-like forms repeat in orderly vertical rows across the maple-toned ground, creating a dense all-over design. The contrast is warm and earthy: the pale motifs lift the deep terracotta brown without making the colourway feel bright or sharp. A visibly textured woven surface gives the pattern gentle definition, with flecks and softened edges catching the light across the swatch. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Otillo Maple on an armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its warm terracotta depth can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, natural fibres and creamy neutrals to echo the light motifs without competing with the small-scale pattern.

The warm terracotta ground and compact cream motif bring patterned character to upholstered furniture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Otillo Maple without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
