About this fabric

The design alternates broad taupe panels with narrow bands of deep navy, softened blue and warm cream, creating a clear vertical rhythm across the cloth. Fine pale lines sit between the stronger blue stripes, while the lightly textured surface keeps the contrast from feeling stark. The taupe background reads as a muted neutral, allowing the cooler blue stripes to provide definition without becoming overly bright. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Burford Bilberry where its vertical stripe can add height and structure: on a tailored chair, bench, roman blind or full-length curtain. The taupe base works comfortably with natural neutrals, while the navy and muted blue details can be picked up in piping, cushions or painted joinery.

Use the taupe ground and layered blue stripes to bring tailored contrast to seating, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
