Mianzi Wallcovering Tempest

Mianzi Wallcovering Tempest combines pale grey-blue and warm beige tones in a finely striated horizontal surface. The subtle variation gives the wallcovering a softly brushed, atmospheric appearance.

About this wallpaper

The design is formed from numerous fine horizontal lines, with the irregular spacing creating gentle movement rather than a stark stripe. Tempest reads as a cool, muted grey-blue overall, softened by pale beige and warm stone-coloured threads across the surface. Slight changes in tone give the image depth, while the low-contrast palette keeps the effect restrained. As a wallcovering, it brings a lightly textured, quietly layered finish to the wall without a bold motif.

How to use it

Pair this cool grey-blue colourway with chalky whites, pale timber and muted blue-grey furnishings. Its warm beige undertones also sit comfortably alongside stone, oatmeal and soft taupe accents.

Use this cool, softly striated wallcovering to add quiet movement to neutral rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mianzi Wallcovering Tempest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
