Benito Mandarin

Zephi Fabric

Benito Mandarin brings a warm, painterly rhythm to the Zephi collection, with closely packed vertical marks in mandarin, coral, cream, teal and rust. The broken stripe layout gives the surface a lively, hand-drawn quality while the visible texture keeps the colour grounded.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric, Benito Mandarin has no performance features noted in the supplied specification. Its design is formed from irregular, narrow vertical bands that fragment and rejoin rather than creating a uniform stripe. Saturated mandarin and rust provide the dominant warmth, while coral, pale cream and muted teal create flashes of contrast between the darker marks. The textured surface softens the graphic pattern, allowing the colour variation to read as layered and tactile rather than flat.

How to use it

Use Benito Mandarin to bring a warm, energised note to an occasional chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtain. Pair its mandarin and rust tones with natural timber, warm neutrals and small accents of teal to draw out the quieter colours in the stripe.

A lively warm-toned stripe for adding colour and graphic movement to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
