Edra Pimento

Toulin Fabric

Edra Pimento brings together warm coral, muted teal, taupe and cream in closely spaced vertical bands. Its small stepped motif gives the stripe a softly woven, rhythmic character rather than a perfectly linear finish.

About this fabric

The design is built from narrow vertical columns of tiny zigzag and stepped marks, creating an ikat-like stripe across the cream ground. Coral provides the warmest note, while dusty teal, blue-grey, taupe and brown add cooler depth and prevent the palette from feeling overly bright. The visible surface has a tactile woven appearance, with the broken edges of each band adding gentle movement. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its use should be considered in relation to the specific upholstery or drapery project.

How to use it

Pair Edra Pimento with warm ivory, clay and natural timber to draw out its coral side, or use deep teal accents to emphasise the cooler vertical bands. The compact stripe works well on upholstered seating, cushions or relaxed curtains where its changing colour columns can be seen at close range.

Use the warm coral and cream tones to soften rooms, with teal and taupe adding graphic definition.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
