Ravenna White is a softly woven linen with a pale ivory-white look and a subtle crosshatch texture. Its finish feels light and natural, with just enough surface detail to keep the colour from reading flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and measuring 140cm wide, Ravenna White has the easy, breathable feel expected of a natural cloth. The colour sits between white and faintly warmed ivory, with tiny greyed threads and a gently slubbed weave that soften the overall effect. It is spot clean only and should not be ironed, so it suits interiors where a relaxed, lived-in texture is preferred over a crisp pressed finish. The fabric’s understated surface gives it enough presence for curtains, loose covers or lighter upholstery schemes without overpowering the room.

How to use it

Use this pale, textural white to lift darker woods, muted greens or painted joinery, especially where you want daylight to bounce softly rather than glare. It also works well as a calm counterpoint to layered linens and natural fibres in a restrained coastal or country scheme.

A quietly textured linen for schemes that need a light, airy base.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
