Samara purple

Misc Fabricsamara1/fa1/ind

Samara Purple is a finely textured weave with a softly layered look, mixing lavender purple with pale cream and mustard accents. The small-scale surface gives the colourway a lively, tweedy finish rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

Woven in 60% Acrylic and 40% Textured Polyester, this fabric has a resilient feel and a tactile, slubby surface that reads clearly in the close-up image. The 142cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, while the spot-clean-only care and iron-safe finish are useful specification details for everyday use. Its purple tones are cool and slightly muted, broken up by pale ground threads and flashes of yellow that keep the surface bright and contemporary. With no fire-retardant treatment noted, it is best chosen with the intended application in mind.

How to use it

This soft purple works well where you want colour without heaviness, especially against chalky whites, pale oak or brushed metal. Use it to add a smart, textural accent that still feels airy and light.

Use this softly speckled lavender for a fresh, tailored look with subtle colour movement.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
