Oxalis Pimento/Marine places lively, hand-drawn botanical shapes against a deep marine-charcoal ground. Coral fruit forms, mint leaves and turquoise stems bring concentrated colour to the dark field.

About this fabric

The softly mottled charcoal background gives this colourway a cool, inky depth, while the coral and salmon forms read as warm flashes across the design. Loose stems and scattered leaf and fruit shapes are picked out in mint, pale blue, turquoise, green, black and coral, creating a distinctly graphic composition rather than a conventional floral. The wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat, with a 0 cm horizontal repeat. Supplied in a standard 10.05 m length and weighing 154 gsm, it is suited to creating a continuous botanical statement on the wall.

How to use it

Pair the marine-charcoal ground with warm coral or terracotta furnishings to draw out the pimento tones, or use pale mint and soft blue accents for a cooler scheme. It would bring particular depth to a dining nook, cloakroom or a single feature wall where the scattered botanical forms can be read at close range.

Use the deep marine-charcoal ground to anchor rooms with coral, mint and teal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
