Fretwork Silver/Linden

Chika Prints FabricSAF0097-01

Fretwork Silver/Linden has a delicate geometric grid that reads crisp and airy on the fabric. The silver ground is lifted by tiny linden-yellow accents, giving the pattern a fresh, tailored feel.

About this fabric

This Chika Prints fabric by Sanderson is a versatile textile with a usable width of 137 cm, a 5.5 cm horizontal and vertical repeat, and a mid-weight 220 gsm handle. The close 112 threads per cm create a neat, finely worked surface that suits both upholstery and drapery use. Visually, the colourway is a cool silver grey with a soft matte look, while the small linden points add a restrained flash of colour through the geometric lattice. The overall effect is light, orderly and quietly decorative rather than bold.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, dining seats or relaxed curtains where the small-scale fretwork can read clearly without overpowering the room. It works especially well with pale timber, stone, dove grey and muted green finishes.

Pair its crisp silver ground with pale oak, chalk whites and soft green accents for a fresh, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
