Ishi Dove

Caspian Weaves FabricSAF0316-02

Ishi Dove has a softly striated look, with fine vertical movement in dove grey, cream and muted taupe. The pattern feels light and airy, but still structured enough to give a room some definition.

About this fabric

This fabric is catalogued as a 230 gsm textile with a usable width of 140 cm and a standard length of 60 m, making it a practical choice for larger schemes. The woven surface shows slender vertical streaks and broken ikat-like marks in soft grey, pale beige and chalky cream, creating a calm, clouded effect rather than a hard stripe. With a pattern repeat of 42 cm vertical and 35 cm horizontal, the design has enough scale to read clearly on curtains or an upholstered chair. The overall finish is understated and cool-toned, with the dove-grey notes sitting lightly over the warmer ground.

How to use it

Use Ishi Dove where you want pattern without strong contrast: it suits upholstered accent chairs, Roman blinds and relaxed curtains. The muted grey-beige palette pairs well with pale oak, limestone and brushed metal finishes.

A quiet, versatile weave that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and elegant drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ishi Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
