About this colour

This shade reads as a cool lilac-grey with a gentle blue note, especially in the hex value #AEA7AF, so it feels more restrained than pink and less cold than a true grey. In north-facing light it can look a little duskier and more lavender, while south-facing light brings out the grey balance and keeps it from turning sugary. It reflects light softly rather than brightly, which makes it useful where you want colour on the wall without a strong contrast.
