Chesham Fabric

Chesham Chintz brings a densely layered floral arrangement to a warm parchment-beige ground. In this colourway, blush blooms, olive foliage and deep charcoal accents create a softly weathered, painterly impression.

About this fabric

The design combines cream and blush-pink flowers with ochre beige petals, muted olive and blue-green leaves, and near-charcoal floral shadows. Its warm beige base gives the colourway an antique, sun-softened depth, while the darker blooms add definition across the repeat. Fine horizontal texture is clearly visible through the design, giving the cloth a tactile, gently ribbed appearance rather than a flat surface. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm aged-beige colourway on a traditional armchair, occasional chair or upholstered headboard, balancing its olive and charcoal details with plain linen, moss green or weathered wood. The blush flowers can introduce a restrained note of faded colour without making the scheme feel bright.

A richly layered floral with an aged parchment ground, muted botanicals and a visibly textured surface for traditional upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
