About this fabric
The design is built from sweeping, symmetrical medallions, scrolling foliage and small floral details, all picked out in brick red, dusty rust, brown and muted blue-grey against the beige ground. Fine horizontal texture is visible through the weave, gently breaking up the colour and preventing the elaborate pattern from appearing flat. Cloisters Antique is catalogued as a fabric, but no composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this colourway. Its substantial-looking patterned weave and formal ornament make it especially suitable for statement upholstery where the antique palette can be appreciated at close range.
How to use it
