Camborne Chintz

Camborne Fabric

Camborne Chintz is a richly illustrated floral fabric with a softly weathered cream ground. Coral-red blooms, olive foliage and small yellow flowers create a warm, timeworn colour story across the surface.

About this fabric

The design combines full coral-red flowers with smaller red buds, leafy olive and khaki branches, and delicate yellow sprigs. A central red foliage motif adds variety between the rounded blooms, while the repeat remains densely arranged rather than sparse. Fine horizontal slubbing is visible throughout the ground, giving the fabric a tactile, linen-like appearance and softening the drawn floral detail. Its muted cream, faded coral and earthy olive tones read as gently vintage, with enough depth to keep the pattern from appearing flat.

How to use it

Use this cream, coral and olive colourway to bring warmth to a relaxed sitting room, either across an upholstered chair or as full-length curtains. Echo the olive leaves in plain cushions and let the coral blooms provide the room’s softer accent colour.

A softly aged floral palette that brings relaxed pattern and layered colour to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
