About this fabric

The close-up shows a fine crosshatched weave rather than a printed motif, giving the surface a restrained, tactile character. The stone-grey tone sits on the warm side of grey, with the folds creating gentle shadow and depth without strong contrast. The cloth falls fluidly across the image, making it best suited to drapery applications. No composition, width, rub test or additional performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Fortywinks Stone for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its warm grey tone can soften a neutral room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and deeper taupe accents to bring out the quiet tonal variation in its weave.

A softly textured stone-grey cloth with a fluid handle, well suited to understated curtains and tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
