Gabba Fabric

Gabba Gris is a softly mottled stone-grey textile with a close, raised weave and irregular charcoal markings. In the close-up, its pale ground reads quietly textured rather than flat.

About this fabric

The fabric has a substantial woven appearance, with short raised loops and ridged bands forming a small, broken grid across the surface. Its warm grey and oatmeal-toned ground is threaded with cool charcoal flecks, giving the colourway gentle depth without a strong contrast. The folds catch the light unevenly, highlighting the nubby texture and making the Gris colourway feel tactile and relaxed. No composition, width or rub-test data is supplied for this exact fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Gabba Gris on a relaxed armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its softly warm stone-grey tone can sit alongside charcoal piping, pale oak and natural linens.

Pair the softly mottled stone-grey ground with charcoal accents and warm natural timber for a calm, tactile scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
