About this fabric

The image shows Lovely Bitter as a deep smoky taupe, sitting between brown-grey and charcoal rather than reading as a clean neutral. Its soft, nap-like face catches the light across the folds, shifting from dusky matte valleys to subdued highlights on the raised ridges. The heavy-looking cloth is particularly suited to upholstered seating, where those changes in direction would give a plain form quiet depth. No performance features are noted for this colourway.
