Marvellous Fabric

Marvellous Paprika is a deep, warm terracotta-red cloth with the saturated earthy character of dried paprika. In the photograph, its supple surface falls into fluid folds, revealing subtle shifts from rust to copper as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The close view shows a plain fabric with a fine, even woven texture rather than a printed motif. Its burnt red-orange tone is richly saturated but softened by the matte-to-gently lustrous surface, giving the folds visible depth. The cloth appears supple and fluid in the gathered areas, while the flatter sections show a consistent paprika colour. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this paprika shade to bring concentrated warmth to full-length curtains, Roman blinds or soft furnishing accents. Pair it with natural wood, warm neutrals and aged brass to balance its earthy red depth.

A warm, richly coloured plain cloth whose fluid folds suit curtains and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
