Morrison Kiln

Morrison Fabric

Morrison Kiln pairs a warm blush ground with a dusty terracotta floral damask. The softly contrasted colourway gives the scrolling foliage, flowers and paisley forms a gently faded, richly decorative character.

About this fabric

The design is densely filled with curling stems, open flowers, serrated leaves and elongated paisley shapes, all rendered in muted terracotta. Fine linear detailing within the petals and foliage adds definition without making the pattern feel sharp or highly saturated. Against the pale blush background, the motif reads warm and softly aged rather than bright, with the textured surface catching the light across the repeated forms. Its ornate scale and close patterning give this fabric a distinctly formal, traditional mood.

How to use it

Use Morrison Kiln to bring warmth to a room built around cream, putty and softly weathered timber, or pair it with deeper terracotta accents for a more enveloping scheme. The blush ground keeps the ornate pattern from feeling overly heavy while the dusty red-brown motif adds depth.

A softly muted, ornate floral damask that brings warm blush and terracotta depth to traditional or layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
