About this fabric

The visible cloth is a cool, deeply muted grey rather than a warm taupe or brown, giving the colourway a calm, tailored character. Its close, fine weave creates a delicate grain that becomes more apparent where the fabric catches the light. The gathered sample shows pronounced but supple folds, with the charcoal tone deepening in the recesses and lifting softly across the raised areas. The plain surface keeps the emphasis on tone, texture and drape rather than a printed motif.

How to use it

Use Playa Orca for full-length curtains in a contemporary or quiet, refined room, where its cool charcoal tone can frame pale walls and soften strong architectural lines. Pair it with brushed metal, smoked timber or lighter grey upholstery to echo the subtle tonal variation visible in the folds.

A cool charcoal tone with a finely textured surface for elegant, understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
