About this fabric

The tightly woven surface reads as a smooth, mid-weight cloth, while the gathered folds show that it has enough fluidity to fall softly rather than hold a rigid shape. Its olive base is warmed by citrus-gold undertones, with shadowed areas becoming deeper and more moss-like. The plain weave keeps the colourway understated, allowing the subtle changes in light across the folds to provide its visual depth. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Rouen II Citrus with warm woods, aged brass and clay neutrals to emphasise its golden olive character. Its fluid fall also makes it suitable for relaxed curtains, while the dense-looking weave can add quiet colour to upholstered pieces.

Use its warm olive-citrus tone to bring an earthy, softly luminous accent to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
