About this fabric

The photographed fabric has a plain velvet surface, with fine directional fibres creating a restrained reddish sheen across the raised areas. Deep creases fall into almost-black plum shadows, giving this Bordeaux colourway considerable visual depth rather than a bright, uniform red.
