About this fabric

The pattern combines pale, scraped-looking areas with broken chocolate and taupe passages, while occasional charcoal accents add definition. Its mottled surface has a tactile woven appearance, with the distressed marks catching the light unevenly rather than reading as a flat print. This colourway feels warm and earthy overall, though the chalky cream areas keep the composition from becoming heavy. The supplied record lists no performance features for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair it with warm ivory, tobacco leather and aged timber to draw out the chocolate and taupe tones, or use charcoal accents to emphasise the darker fragments. It would bring painterly depth to a feature chair, sofa or relaxed curtain scheme.

Use the chocolate-led, distressed ground to add warmth and painterly texture to upholstery or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
