Creran Fabric27

Creran 27 Midnight Sky is a deeply shaded textile with the cool, inky character of a night sky. Its close-up surface reveals fine woven texture and softly shifting tonal depth rather than a pronounced pattern.

About this fabric

The fabric reads as dark navy at first glance, with charcoal and blue-black variation visible across the surface. A small, pebbled weave gives the cloth a tactile appearance, while irregular vertical tonal movement stops the colour from looking completely flat. The substantial-looking woven texture makes this colourway particularly convincing for upholstered seating, where its deep shade can add quiet structure and visual weight.

How to use it

Pair this cool navy-charcoal shade with pale stone, smoky grey or warm timber to create contrast without introducing a brighter accent. It is especially effective on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat in a low-lit, atmospheric room.

Use this deep navy-charcoal upholstery to bring cool, understated depth to contemporary seating and darker schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
