Perseus 34 Navy is a deep, cool navy textile with a closely woven surface that shifts between blue-black and charcoal. Fine flecks and uneven horizontal traces create a softly weathered, dimensional appearance.

About this fabric

The dense weave combines navy, charcoal and blue-grey threads in a finely mottled surface rather than a flat, uniform colour. Subtle horizontal and vertical tonal variation gives the cloth a gently structured, almost shadowed texture. Its dark blue ground reads as composed and modern, while the lighter flecks prevent it from appearing completely black. The substantial-looking woven handle makes this colourway particularly suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use 34 Navy on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or footstool where its cool depth can anchor pale timber, stone and warm metallic accents. Pair it with soft grey or muted blue textiles to draw out the quieter blue-grey flecks in the weave.

The dense navy-and-charcoal weave brings depth to contemporary upholstery while remaining quietly versatile.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
