10 Poppy
Hillbank Fabric10
Hillbank 10 Poppy is a vivid red woven fabric with a tactile, closely crosshatched surface. Subtle darker threads give the colour depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric
The swatch reads as a saturated poppy red, with fine variations from scarlet to deeper crimson visible across the weave. Its dense surface is formed from tightly interlaced horizontal and vertical threads, creating a restrained textural pattern without a separate motif. The darker flecks and irregular yarn lines soften the brightness and give the cloth a richly layered appearance. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.
How to use it
Use this confident poppy red on a statement chair, ottoman or sofa where its dark woven flecks can temper the intensity of the colour. Pair it with warm neutrals, aged timber or charcoal accents for a room with strong, grounded contrast.
Use this richly saturated red to bring depth and confident colour to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
10 Poppy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
