About this fabric
09 Pacific sits between ink blue and cool teal, with a subdued, mineral-like tone rather than a bright marine colour. Fine tonal flecks run across the surface, while narrow vertical variations create a softly brushed impression. The dark ground absorbs much of the light, allowing occasional blue-grey highlights to emerge through the texture. In this image, the dense-looking surface reads as a substantial, smart upholstery cloth.
How to use it
Use this deep blue-teal on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its shadowed colour can add depth without becoming glossy or overly vivid. Pair it with chalky neutrals, smoked timber and aged brass to draw out its cool blue-grey highlights.
