Plains 1 The Alchemy of Colour FabricZOF0052-18

About this fabric

The fine, even weave gives this colourway a quietly textured appearance rather than a printed pattern, with restrained lustre catching lightly across the surface. Deep lazuli reads as saturated and atmospheric, balancing navy intensity with a slightly softened, blue-grey grain. The fabric has a 135 cm usable width and 67 threads per cm, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat. Its plain construction and composed surface make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Deep Lazuli to add cool, inky depth to a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains, pairing it with warm timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass to draw out the subtle flecks in the weave.

The deep, cool blue and finely textured weave bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
