About this fabric

The surface is entirely pattern-free, allowing the rich Shaker Red colour to provide the visual character. Subtle vertical and horizontal threads are visible across the close weave, creating gentle tonal variation as the light moves over the cloth. At 630 gsm, with 22 threads per cm and a usable width of 140 cm, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery. Its 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to position across cushions and upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use Shaker Red on a club chair, dining seat or tailored sofa where its dark, warm red can act as the room’s anchoring colour. Pair it with aged timber, tobacco leather and chalky neutrals to balance the intensity of the plain weave.
