Cazenove Wallcovering Linen

Cazenove Wallcovering Linen is shown here in a pale greige with a softly weathered, linen-effect surface. Fine horizontal striations give the otherwise quiet colour a gentle sense of movement.

About this wallpaper

The colour sits between warm grey and washed stone, with a muted depth that changes subtly across the surface. Delicate horizontal lines run through the image, while faint tonal variation creates the impression of softly brushed fibres. As a wallpaper from the Caractre Wallcoverings collection, it offers a restrained textural alternative to a flat painted wall.

How to use it

Use this pale greige wallpaper across a full room or as a calm backdrop behind natural timber, chalky painted furniture and softly contrasting warm whites. Its understated horizontal texture is particularly suited to rooms where the wall finish should remain quiet but not completely plain.

Its quiet greige tone and horizontal texture suit calm, understated interiors.

Pairs well with

Cazenove Wallcovering Linen is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
