Lacquer Wallcovering Ochre

Lacquer Wallcovering Ochre presents a richly saturated ochre surface with a softly brushed, horizontal texture. In the swatch, its warm yellow-orange tone has gentle tonal variation rather than a printed motif.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper is an even, plain colourway in a deep ochre yellow, leaning warm and golden rather than mustard or brown. Fine horizontal striations run across the surface, giving the colour a lightly layered appearance and preventing it from reading as flat. Subtle changes in tone catch the light across the swatch, creating a quiet lacquer-like depth. It is catalogued as wallpaper from Zinc Textile’s Caractre Wallcoverings collection, with no performance features noted.

How to use it

Use this ochre wallcovering as a confident enveloping backdrop in a dining room, study or bedroom, balancing its warm intensity with chalky cream, dark wood and muted terracotta. Its fine horizontal texture will add depth while keeping the overall look clean and composed.

Use this warm ochre wallcovering to bring a rich, sunlit depth to rooms with natural timber, cream or earthy accents.

Pairs well with

Lacquer Wallcovering Ochre is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
