Halston Moonbeam

City Fabric

Halston Moonbeam presents a pale, moonlit cream ground crossed by a dense arrangement of outlined rectangles. Its softly varied surface gives the light neutral shade gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This fabric from Zinc Textile’s City collection combines a fine textured ground with overlapping rectangular forms in different sizes. The pattern is picked out in restrained ivory, beige and cool greige lines, creating definition without strong contrast. Across the swatch, the raised-looking outlines and subtle tonal variation give the pale colourway a quietly dimensional, architectural feel. Its balanced scale and mid-weight visual presence make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Moonbeam to brighten a tailored chair, headboard or sofa while keeping the room calm and tonal. Pair its pale cream base with chalky stone, warm white and understated grey, allowing the geometric outlines to provide the detail.

A softly textured cream ground and low-contrast geometry suit tailored upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
