Solitaire Moonbeam

Checkmate Fabric

Solitaire Moonbeam is a very light ivory colourway with delicate horizontal striations running across the surface. Its quiet tonal variation gives the cloth a softly tactile, finely lined appearance.

About this fabric

The surface is made up of closely spaced, slightly irregular horizontal lines rather than a bold repeated motif. Pale cream and ivory threads create a cool, airy ground, while the subtle variation stops the colour from appearing completely flat. Light catches the fine texture gently, revealing a restrained woven character without strong contrast. As a fabric from the Checkmate collection, this colourway offers a particularly understated interpretation of the design.

How to use it

Use Moonbeam for relaxed curtains or softly gathered panels where its pale ivory tone can brighten the room without introducing a stark white. Pair it with oatmeal, warm timber and softly textured upholstery for a calm, layered scheme.

Use the soft ivory ground as a light, calming curtain layer with warm neutrals and natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
