Armando Ink

Jacopo Ii Fabric

Armando Ink is a deeply shaded blue textile with a near-black cast and softly irregular surface movement. Fine horizontal lines run through the cloth, while smoky tonal patches bring a subtle, tactile depth.

About this fabric

The darkest areas read as blue-black charcoal, while the lower and more illuminated sections shift towards cool slate blue. Fine horizontal striations are visible across the surface, broken by cloudy, mottled bands that prevent the colour from appearing flat. This restrained tonal variation gives the fabric a smart, atmospheric character suited to upholstery where texture is intended to carry the design.

How to use it

Use Armando Ink on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair to establish a cool, moody foundation. Its blue-black depth pairs naturally with pale stone, brushed metal and warm timber, which will pick up the lighter slate tones in the cloth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
