Sol Brunello

Mercer Fabric

Sol Brunello has a warm terracotta ground, closely flecked with cream and deeper rust, creating a softly variegated woven surface. Its compact texture gives the colourway a quietly dimensional appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly formed from a dense micro-weave, with tiny light and dark points interlocking across the surface. Warm brick, rust and terracotta tones dominate, while fine cream flecks lift the overall shade and add visual depth. The close, even construction reads as substantial and upholstery-suited, with a smart finish that remains tactile rather than glossy. In changing light, the mixed yarn effect softens the intensity of the terracotta and gives the surface a gently mottled character.

How to use it

Pair Sol Brunello with natural timber, aged leather and warm neutral walls, using it on an armchair, dining seat or tailored sofa where its rust-terrracotta depth can anchor the scheme.

Use this warm, finely textured terracotta weave to bring depth to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
