Bonomo Driftwood

Pantelleria Plains Fabric

Bonomo Driftwood has a deep driftwood-brown ground layered with smoky mushroom-grey marks. Its densely mottled surface shifts between shadowed brown and softly lit taupe, giving the colourway a quietly weathered character.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular, horizontal organic shapes that resemble scattered mineral deposits or softened brush marks. In this colourway, the darkest brown-grey areas create a deep base, while dusty taupe highlights bring the pattern forward without making it high contrast. The close-set motif gives the cloth a substantial, visually textured appearance suited to upholstery. Subtle tonal variation across the surface helps disguise uniformity while retaining a restrained, sophisticated look.

How to use it

Use Bonomo Driftwood on a statement sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its dark taupe-brown depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and pale mushroom or stone accents to pick up the lighter marks in the pattern.

A deep, mineral-toned upholstery cloth that brings layered movement and quiet depth to seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bonomo Driftwood without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
