Zinc Textile

Meurice Tungsten

Meurice Tungsten presents a deep, cool grey ground crossed by closely spaced diagonal bands. The near-charcoal tone gives the stripe a restrained, architectural character.

About this fabric

The surface is defined by fine diagonal striping, with alternating dark and lighter tungsten-grey lines running consistently across the swatch. Its cool, smoky colour reads deeper in the recessed stripes and softer where the light catches the raised surface. The orderly repeat gives this Parisienne collection fabric a tailored, directional look rather than a decorative or organic one. No performance features are noted for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Meurice Tungsten to bring a cool charcoal note to a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain, pairing it with pale stone, silver-grey or warm timber to soften the graphic diagonal rhythm.

The cool, charcoal-grey ground and disciplined diagonal stripe bring tailored depth to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Meurice Tungsten without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
