About this fabric

This fabric is dominated by saturated blue-green and turquoise tones, with lighter aqua marks creating variation between the deeper teal strokes. Narrow cream and white accents brighten the design, while occasional mustard-yellow touches bring a warmer note without outweighing the cool ground. The irregular, brush-like vertical marks create a medium-scale pattern that reads as energetic and layered rather than geometric. As a fabric SKU from the Zinc Textile X Mhd 2 collection, Wandle Peacock has a distinctly contemporary, art-led character.

How to use it

Use Wandle Peacock to bring cool peacock teal into a room through an upholstered accent chair, relaxed sofa, or full-length curtains. Balance its aqua and pale marks with warm white, natural timber and small mustard-yellow details picked from the pattern.

A cool, painterly teal with lively aqua, pale and mustard accents for contemporary upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
