Wriggle Porcelain

Zinc Textile X Mhd 2 Fabric

Wriggle Porcelain has a softly luminous porcelain ground, overlaid with irregular white zigzags and scattered, elongated oval marks. In the photograph, the pale design reads as delicate and lightly dimensional across the square cushion.

About this fabric

The fine woven ground is a warm, near-ivory cream, with lighter white patterning that shifts gently as the surface catches the light. Uneven vertical zigzag lines create a relaxed rhythm, while the small elongated marks add a softly broken, almost hand-drawn quality. Subtle grey-blue shading is visible in places around the motifs, giving this otherwise pale colourway a little depth without making it feel contrast-heavy. The fabric is shown made up as a square cushion, demonstrating how the pattern settles across a soft upholstered form.

How to use it

Pair Wriggle Porcelain with chalky whites, pale stone and washed timber for a calm, bright scheme. Its restrained cream tone also works well as a light cushion or curtain layer against deeper taupe and grey upholstery.

Use this pale porcelain colourway to soften upholstery or bring a quiet, light-catching layer to curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
