Ribblesdale Sunshine

Ribblesdale Fabricribblesdale2

Ribblesdale Sunshine is a richly drawn botanical textile on a pale, cool grey ground. Ochre-gold flowers, sage foliage and dark brown branches give the design a softly sun-washed character.

About this fabric

The large-scale pattern combines branching stems, curling leaves and full stylised blooms, with the strongest colour coming from the ochre and muted gold flowers. A finely crosshatched woven texture is visible across the pale grey background, lending the surface a gently tactile, linen-like appearance without claiming a specific fibre composition. Sage, olive and blue-grey leaves temper the warmth of the flowers, while the brown branches add definition and depth. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm, weathered colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or statement sofa, where its pale grey background can sit comfortably with chalky neutrals. Repeat the ochre-gold notes in cushions, ceramics or painted furniture for a cohesive room scheme.

Pair the pale grey ground with warm wood, natural linen and muted ochre accents for a softly collected scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
