Pressed Fern Jet

The Arthur Portfolio FabricPRSSDFRNJET

Pressed Fern Jet brings a strongly graphic fern pattern into focus through repeated vertical columns. Ivory fronds stand out crisply against a deep jet-black ground, with olive and muted red adding restrained colour between the motifs.

About this fabric

This fabric is arranged in orderly, narrow bands of stylised fern leaves, giving the surface a clear vertical rhythm. The jet-black background reads deep and dramatic, while the ivory foliage provides the strongest contrast without appearing starkly white. Olive detailing softens the black-and-ivory pairing, and fine muted-red accents introduce a subtle warm note within the pattern. The compact, regular motif gives the colourway a smart, tailored character suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Pair Pressed Fern Jet with warm wood, dark stained furniture and plain olive or ivory accents. Its near-black base can anchor a room, while the fern stripes add controlled botanical detail to a chair, bench or occasional sofa.

Use the near-black ground and olive-ivory fern stripes to add graphic structure to tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
